Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026.

Using a calculator on StatsCalc means you agree to the terms below. Read them, they are short.

What you are actually getting

Each tool implements a published statistical formula, the sample or population standard deviation, a z, t or chi-square p-value, a normal-distribution confidence interval, and so on, and runs it against whatever numbers you type in. The output is a planning and study number, not a peer-reviewed analysis, a certified calculation, or professional statistical consulting.

No warranty

The site and every calculator on it are provided "as is," without a warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or anything else. We check each formula against a published source, but we cannot guarantee a specific result matches every textbook edition or software package's rounding convention.

Limits on liability

We are not liable for a decision, a grade, a paper, or a business outcome that rests on a number this site produced. If a result needs to hold up under review, verify it independently before relying on it.

How the site is paid for

StatsCalc runs on display advertising through Google AdSense and, on some pages, affiliate links. If you click one of those and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Advertising never changes what a calculator computes.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape, resell, or republish the calculators themselves as your own product. Guides and articles may be quoted with a link back to the original page.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site changes. Continuing to use the calculators after an update means you accept the current version.
